Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Laura, and I’m the founder of Muddy Wellies Boutique Childminding Service.

I hold CACHE Level 1 and 2 qualifications in Early Years and am currently completing my Level 3 in Childminding, which I expect to finish within the next two months. Once that’s complete, I’ll be registering with CIW, and then I’ll be ready to welcome little ones into my care! Hopefully should be around September/October!

I’ve worked in a variety of childcare settings over the years, including nurseries, crèches, primary and high schools. Most recently, I had the pleasure of visiting many local primary schools to run music workshops and gospel choirs. However, after welcoming my beautiful daughter Sylvie into the world in January, I felt inspired to start my own childminding journey.

In the evenings, I also work as a singing and musical theatre tutor – so music and creativity are very much a part of what I love to share!

Muddy Wellies will be a small, nature-inspired setting where children are treated as part of the family. I truly believe in the benefits of outdoor learning, so we’ll be spending as much time in nature as possible – going on walks, exploring, and enjoying lots of fresh air.

I’ll be taking on only a small number of children to ensure each child gets the care, attention, and love they deserve.
